Veterinary Medical Doctor, Master in Experimental and Comparative Pathology, and PhD from the School of Veterinary Medicine and Zoo technology at the University of São Paulo (1991, 1997 and 2003). Post doctorate in Biotechnology (focus on environmental virology) from Santa Catarina Federal University. Alongside Dr. Sandri, she is responsible for all the veterinary care of those animals that are taken care of at the Environmental Military Police/CETAS-Santa Catarina (Wildlife Rehabilitation Center), as well as project development, cleaning and maintenance of enclosures and general animal care.
SANDRO SANDRI

Veterinary Medical Doctor, graduated from Santa Maria Federal University (2002). He specialized in Environmental Education (2008) and is a certified forensic specialist (2009). He is responsible for the clinical and surgical care of the animals that are taken to Santa Catarina Environmental Military Police/CETAS (Wildlife Rehabilitation Center). He also assists in cleaning and maintenance of enclosures and general animal care
ROSI PIÑA JAFELICE

Responsible for English and Spanish translations
She studied Sociology in Chile and obtained her Master Degree in Applied Linguistics from UFRN. She has worked as a language teacher for more than 20 years (English, Spanish, Portuguese for foreigners, preparation for the Toefl test and translations). She assists in cleaning and maintenance of enclosures and general animal care.
RAPHAEL FARAGE FREITAS

He is a marine biologist from Joinville Regional University (UNIVILLE), 2007. He is currently obtaining his MBA in forensics, auditing and environmental management from IPOG and he is working at Prosul.
DANIELA BALIN
R3 Animal Association Volunteer
She is a Nurse technician. She also acts as a surrogate mother to infant animals in need of care and nurturing. She assists in cleaning and maintenance of enclosures and general animal care.
PAULO ROBERTO DIAS
Volunteer and Animal Care Committee Member.
He is retired from Tractebel Energia/Eletrosul. R3 Animal considers him the penguins’ father. He assists in cleaning and maintenance of enclosures and general animal care, and is responsible for managing all information regarding the penguins.
ZÉLIO PEDRO CASAGRANDE
Volunteer and Animal Care Committee Member.
He is an Electrical Engineer. He graduated from Santa Catarina Federal University, and is now retired from PETROBRAS, where he worked as an equipment engineer. He assists in cleaning and maintenance of enclosures and general animal care.
ODIVAL CEZAR GASPAROTTO
Collaborator of R3 Animal Association.
Professor at UFSC, Department of Physiology. M.Sc. and PhD in Human Physiology, and completed post doctoral work in Behavioral Physiology.
JOÃO HENRIQUE CARDOSO COSTA
Volunteer and Volunteer Committee Member
He is an Agricultural Engineer and a graduate from Santa Catarina Federal University (UFSC), and is currently obtaining his Master Degree in Agrosystems from the same institution. He develops and carries on research activities in Ethology and animal welfare at the Applied Ethology Laboratory (LETA – UFSC). He assists in the maintenance of enclosures and animal care.
REGINA ANDO
R3 Animal Association Volunteer
She graduated in Biological Sciences from UFRGS and is currently a civil servant. She works at R3 Animal to rescue her biologist, human, dreamer side. She assists in the maintenance of enclosures and animal care.
LEONARDO MARUYAMA DE CARVALHO
Volunteer and Member of the Supervisory Board
Graduated in Computer Science, at UFSC. He is from São Paulo and he lives in Florianopolis since 2002. He is currently working in a tech company that develops management and automation systems for government departments.
She assists in the nursery maintenance and animal care.

He is a Sergeant (BPMA), responsible for the Environmental Military Police/CETAS-Santa Catarina (Wildlife Rehabilitation Center) in Florianopolis. He is a UFSC undergraduate student in Biological Sciences.

THAÍS DOS SANTOS VIANNA
Student at the Course of Biological Sciences, UFSC, and intern at the Aquatic Mammals Laboratory – LAMAQ – also from UFSC.
He assists in the nursery maintenance and animal care.
JANAYNA LEHMKUHL BOUZON
Biologist graduated at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), 2002. Master in Plant Biology, focusing on the area of Marine Ecology, 2005 by the same university and Biological Sciences Doctor focusing on the area of Zoology (2011) by the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). She operates in Santa Catarina CETAS directly in the maintenance of nurseries and animal care.
MICHEL MARCEL BUTIN

Michel is from France, he has been living in Brasil for 24 years. Musician, graduated at the Paris L´école CIM. He works as a french translator and teacher for over 20 years. He helps with the nursery maintenance at animal care.
